Thanksgiving Weekend Paddle from Egan Park

Hey PADL St Pete! Come burn off the turkey and trimmings with a paddle board session on Thanksgiving weekend from Egan Park in St Pete Beach. You can BYOB (bring your own board) or rent a board from the PADL station (with RSVPs, up to 4 boards available).

Local PADL-approved guides from St. Pete Beach will lead the group from the paddle station at Egan Park and either head north around the cape and into Blind Pass or south towards Cat Island on the other side of the Corey Causeway (depending on wind and current).

All levels are welcome and those who have not paddled before will get instructions on how to ride before we head out. This is the first event so we can meet each other for the first time, paddle together and make plans for future paddles. And remember: there are up to 4 paddleboards available for rent via the PADL app so non-paddleboard owners are welcome!

Here's the scoop:

• 9AM Leaving from the PADL station at Egan Park
• BYOB or RSVP ahead of time to reserve a PADL paddle board from the station using the PADL app
• We'll paddle for most of the time, stopping to take in the views every now and then. We'll head back in time to make the whole round trip 1.5 hours.
• Everyone bring enough water/snacks for 2 hours of combined paddling and chill time
• There's ample parking at Egan Park

Bringing your Own Board? Then remember to bring:
_your life vest/inflatable PFD
_a leash
_sunscreen
_waterproof bag for your phone/wallet/keys
