We generally reserve our face-off challenges for the movie group (easier to compare, and remember, week to week) but I came up with the idea to do a "steamy summer sex scandal face-off" with our August and September selections so I'm instituting the face-off format on a one time basis here in our page to screen forum. You guys may need to take notes so you can remember month to month and pick the winner.
To kick things off, and with no pun intended, my entry into the competition is Notes on a Scandal (2003 novel and 2006 film). Featuring two Oscar nominated performances from two powerhouse actresses I think this one will be a strong contender against Karl's September entry, Lolita. Let's see which one comes out on top.
