Join me at the Draw-a-thon!

Something different this weekend: I'm attending the Art and Design High School's biannual fundraiser on Saturday, and you should join me!

You'll need to buy a ticket on the Eventbrite or at the door, it'll come out to ~$35 either way. No obligation to stay for the whole event!

Cityscape plein air and live figure drawing might seem like completely different types of artmaking, but I find they complement each other quite wonderfully. I'll be spending all day in the nude figure drawing room (the gymnasium, full of short and long pose modelling), but there's a full cafeteria of costumed models as well! We can head out for lunch together, and if you stick around 'til 6pm, there's a pizza party. (It is a fundraiser for teenagers, after all!)

You can bring dry or wet media to this event, but there will only be a few basic easels around so you shouldn't rely on one being available.
