Rain date: Painting a Giant Pigeon (and the High Line I guess)
Details
Not deja vu, just rescheduled!
There's a spot on the High Line where the path widens into a plaza, giving us enough space to paint without security eyeing the space our easels take up. It also happens to be a place where they display public art, and for the past year it's been...a giant pigeon.
Our meeting point will be at the base of the pigeon statue. Check in with me on-site so I know who's attending, and then we'll disperse to our individual painting spots. At 2pm, we'll meet back up to show off our art and discuss the day.
Gather your materials (watercolor, oils, gouache, acrylics, marker: all are welcome) and join with other artists for the joys and challenges of painting outside!
