Broadway, Tip to Top: Chambers St

Welcome to the 2026 Broadway: Tip to Top series! We've begun at the very beginning, at the tip of Manhattan, and we'll progress up the island using Broadway as our path. By the end of Fall, we'll finish in Van Cortlandt Park, where Broadway continues into Yonkers but we will not; I have my limits, and one is the city limit!

This weekend's location is Chambers Street, in the neighborhood known as Civic Center. City Hall, the Tweed Courthouse, and so much more is visible from this vantage point!

Our meeting point will be under the Sun clock, at the northeast corner of the intersection with Broadway. Check in with me on-site so I know who's attending, and then we'll disperse to our individual painting spots. At 2pm, we'll meet back up to show off our art and discuss the day.

Gather your materials (watercolor, oils, gouache, acrylics, marker: all are welcome) and join with other artists for the joys and challenges of painting outside!
