Broadway, Tip to Top: Van Cortlandt Park

Welcome to the finale of the 2026 Broadway: Tip to Top series!

Let's close out our trek across the city with Van Cortlandt Park, where the 1 ends and Broadway continues on into Yonkers. The Van Cortlandt House Museum is right here, as is the pool, though I can't imagine they'll let you take a dip with your paints! And of course there's the natural splendor of NYC's third largest park, I guess, if green's your favorite color!

We'll switch our if summer hours given that it's a bit of a trek to get to by 10am.

Our meeting point will be at the park entrance at the corner of Broadway and Van Cortlandt Park South. Check in with me on-site so I know who's attending, and then we'll disperse to our individual painting spots. At 2pm, we'll meet back up to show off our art and discuss the day.

Gather your materials (watercolor, oils, gouache, acrylics, marker: all are welcome) and join with other artists for the joys and challenges of painting outside!
