The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration has the nickname "the little church around the corner", but whatever you call it, it's a quaint mid-1800s cluster of connected buildings. These are aesthetically pleasing in their own right, but combined with the rest of the urban fabric of E 29th St, it's a great juxtaposition.

Our meeting point will be at 11am in front of the Church of the Transfiguration. Check in with me on-site so I know who's attending, and then we'll disperse to our individual painting spots. At 2pm, we'll meet back up to show off our art and discuss the day.

Gather your materials (watercolor, oils, gouache, acrylics, marker: all are welcome) and join with other artists for the joys and challenges of painting outside!
