PAKD Gallery and Berlin Portrait Academy invite you to a weekly open studio session — 8 hours dedicated to drawing, painting, and creating in our beautiful gallery, surrounded by inspiring artworks that spark your imagination.

Your 15 Euro day pass includes:

• An easel and/or table and chair
• Wi-Fi access
• A welcoming community of fellow artists to connect with and be inspired by

Whether you're seeking focused creative time or hoping to make new artistic connections, this is the perfect opportunity to make art, make friends, and make memories in Berlin.

Atelier hours:

A few house rules to keep things running smoothly:

• Please bring materials that are easy to clean up and transport.
• We cannot accommodate sculpture or other work that produces dust, filings, or similar debris.
• Artists must bring their own carriers for wet paintings, as works cannot be left to dry in the gallery.
• The gallery cannot take responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
• Keep the space tidy and respect others’ needs regarding noise and clutter.
• Friendly conversation is encouraged! However, loud music, shouting, or use of noisy tools (e.g., drills or saws) is not permitted.
• This is a safe and inclusive space. Racism, homophobia, transphobia, religious intolerance, or any form of bullying or discrimination will not be tolerated. Please treat everyone with respect.
• Any damage to the gallery space or artwork on display will incur a fee, up to and including the full value of any artwork damaged.

Booking on our website, not via Meetup. Berlin Portrait Academy teaches realistic oil painting in the tradition of academies in Florence, Barcelona and London, bringing the Atelier experience to Berlin. Open to all levels from absolute beginner, to those who are more experienced but interested in tackling the academic method.

Places are limited to six students per session. Cost is 30 euros per class with no commitments, alternatively if you’d like to secure ten classes in a row it’s 280 for the entire introductory course. Materials are provided free for the first lesson.

Tuition is by Peter Kasim, a seasoned 2D and 3D animator as well as highly experienced oil painter who had trained under the expert guidance of London Fine Art studios and master oil painter Alex Tsavaras. He is excited to pass on his years of training and knowledge and is incredibly passionate about helping artists to grow to their maximum potential.
