Dubai Art Workshop Squad
Ahwet Al Qishleh, West Wharf Tower, business bay, Dubai, AEJoin us for a relaxed, creative afternoon where we explore texture-based painting using a variety of tools and materials. This session is all about experimenting, playing, and letting go of perfection.
Whether you’re a total beginner or already love painting, this workshop is friendly, easy-going, and open to everyone (no prior art experience needed). All ages are welcome.
✨ What makes this workshop special?
This is a texture painting session where we go beyond brushes alone. You’ll be encouraged to paint using sponges, tape, fingers, leaves, found objects, and any unconventional tools you feel drawn to. Every workshop includes a unique creative activity, so each session feels fresh and expressive.
👩🎨 How does it work?
With the tools and objects you have found or provided, you'll be guided with a simple activity that can help you break the ice with the canvas. From there, you’re free to explore and build your artwork using these tools in your own way. The point is to let go of perfection and paint out of the lines.
For example,
* Tape can be placed on the canvas, painted over and peeled off to reveal bolder shapes and borders.
* Fingers can be used to create spots and blotches, either for the whole painting or accents.
* Leaves or seashells can be painted and pressed onto the canvas to leave organic, natural imprints.
You're also highly encouraged to bring your favourite tiny objects that you'd love to experiment with.

🖌️ What to Bring
You don’t need to prepare or bring anything - all canvases and art supplies will be provided, and you’ll be able to take your finished artwork home with you.
However, if you have favorite tools, brushes, or paints you love working with, especially for this workshop - be it leaves, small rocks, seashells, or other found objects - feel free to bring them along!
🎨 Note: The medium is going to be acrylic paints. Acrylics are water-based. It may sound intimidating at first, but don't worry - you'll be guided every step of the way.
