Kira: Special Rhythms and Combinations Workshop

This workshop is designed for dancers of all levels; combinations will be taught to different bellydance rhythms: chiftitelli, baladi, Karachi, and karslimar. Upon completing the combinations, finger cymbals will be incorporated with the combinations. Special attention will be paid to playing the cymbals and accenting the movements and playing the cymbals as percussive instruments. One on one instruction is a unique feature in our workshops, so each student will receive individual attention during the workshop.

Kira is a fulltime performer/choreographer/bellydance instructor who began her studies in theatre, ballet, modern and Middle Eastern dance in the seventies. Kahreen & Kira, have sponsored and studied with many renowned dance artists such as Yousry Sharif, Dahlena, Shareen El Safy, Fathiem, Shoshanna, Dalia Carella, Artemis Mourat, and Jasmin Jahal, plus many others. Because of her years of diverse study in many artistic disciplines, Kira’s has a unique style which is a combines elements of different dance styles.
