August meeting and book change

Hi everyone! Thank you to all that attended Saturday’s event. Our next meeting is scheduled for Saturday, August 1 from 10 AM to noon.

VERY IMPORTANT - we selected a book to be read that this book club already read - Frozen River. It was actually the month before I joined. So instead of repeating the book, I am deferring to my first pick - The Berry Pickers by Amanda Peters. The novel is a few years old and is now printed in paperback. Go to past events to see the books that have been chosen since the group’s inception (I just discovered this today). Ugh! My apologies.

Again, The Berry Pickers by Amanda Peters is the August selection. The book was published in 2023 and is available in paperback. As of today, 12/16 copies are available at PBCL, and it’s also on Hoopla. It has a 4 star average from approximately 350,000 reviews on Goodreads. See you on August 1st!
