This group is for anyone interested in learning how to play pickleball - from beginners who have never played - to intermediates who want to improve their game. in Palm Beach County.
I offer three types of clinics. The cost for each clinic is $30. No more than four people in a clinic so each student receives maximum attention.
BEGINNERS PICKLEBALL CLINIC
In the Beginners Pickleball clinic, you will learn the basic groundstrokes, including forehand and backhand, the serve (you know you can't play pickleball if you can't serve), the return of serve, the drop shot, the volley, and the dink. You will learn how to play doubles - where to stand, where to move, how to keep score, the rules, and generally how to play the game. For the final 15-20 minutes, we will actually play a game so you know what to expect if you go to one of the parks for open play.
ADVANCED BEGINNERS PICKLEBALL CLINIC
The Advanced Beginners Pickleball clinic is for those who have played pickleball and can hit groundstrokes reasonably well. We will improve these strokes with advanced drills and practice improving your serve, dink, return of serve, volley, drop shot, and overhead smash. We will also work on positioning and where to move during the game. Like the beginners' clinic, we will play a few games to learn the tactics and strategies necessary to become a better player and enjoy the game.
INTERMEDIATE PICKLEBALL CLINIC
In the Intermediate Pickleball clinic, we mainly drill the various shots: serve, return of serve, dink, drop shot, volley, drive, and lob. Like the other clinics, we play a few games to learn the tactics and strategies to help you enjoy the game more and be a better player.
