Ngöndro Practice at PBDC
Details
Ngöndro refers to the preliminary or foundation practices of Vajrayana Buddhism. Although they are known as preliminary, the Ngöndro foundational practices do not mean "lesser." The practices of Ngöndro are a complete practice of the spiritual path.
Everyone is welcome.

PBDC is excited to announce the return of the Ngöndro practice! This foundational practice, known as “preliminary practice”, beautifully combines skillful means and wisdom. According to our teacher, Ven. Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche, beginning Ngöndro “is like smoothing a ploughed field to make ready for sowing.”
Ngöndro is a condensed form of the Buddha’s entire teachings, incorporating the wisdom of Guru Padmasambhava and many other lineage masters.
The practice will involve the recitation of the Ngöndro and the accumulation practices. It is suitable for beginners on the path, as well as for seasoned students.
While we invite all students to join, we highly encourage everyone to meet with Rinpoche for direct instruction on this profound and transformative practice.
