Atlantic Ridge Preserve State Park walk/saunter Stuart area

• Shared event with RFAR (Recess For Active Retirees )@ Atlantic Ridge Preserve in Stuart area. Meet 10 Am at the gate area. Your State Park Pass is Valid here. If you don't have a pass, bring cash for admission fee, $6 per car or $4 sgl occupant. Honor system here. . We call J Dickinson SP for the gate code then drive down to the parking area. If you get there and we are gone you can call for the gate code. This adventurous walk/saunter is about 4 miles. Flat but some areas have roots and palm fronds. Some parts feel like a walk in the jungle. See photos below. Maybe some mud but no standing water. Port-a-potty there . Bring water,bug repellent, walking stick sunscreen etc. Bring picnic lunch to leave in your car for afterwards. Bring your good humor too.
• **Atlantic Ridge Preserve is at the terminus of Southeast Paulson Avenue in Stuart, Martin County. East of Halpatiokee Regional Park Kanner Hwy and I95. From Kanner(76) turn onto Cove road then right on Gaines and veer left onto Paulson rd . The walk is not at J Dickinson SP they only administer the operations. Atlantic Ridge Preserve State Park is maintained for natural resource preservation. Call Jonathan Dickinson State Park at 772-546-2771 for the gate code.

#### Fees

$6 per vehicle (two to eight people); $4 single-occupant vehicle; $2 pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers. Please use the honor box to pay fees. Correct change is required.
