Kitching Creek Paddle, Jonathan Dickinson State Park

Kitching Creek is a very beautiful part of the Loxahatchee River in Jonathan Dickinson State Park.

Join us the Friday ( Nov 28 2025 1 PM) for a relaxing paddle of 2 hours or so of gliding along this enchanting creek. BE SURE to ARRIVE EARLIER to be ready to launch at 1pm.The creek becomes a narrow mangrove tunnel. PLEASE BE AN EXPERIENCED ENOUGH PADDLER TO NAVIGATE THROUGH A MANGROVE TUNNEL.
Kayak owners will launch next to the kayak renters on the grassy beach area to the left of the concession store, where the roped off swimming area used to be.
Drive your car down the dirt path that says Service Enployees Only, to drop off your kayak, then drive back to park in the lot. If you need to rent a canoe or kayak, do so at the camp store 561 746-1466 .
LIMIT 14 due to narrow paddling space in the creek area.If you can not make it please change you RSVP status to Not Going to allow others, as there is a waitlist.
