Location: 8537 Northlake Blvd, West Palm Beach, Watershed Management Fish & Wildlife sign, Hog Hammock trail head. (GPS is stated as 26.664083, -80.141100). THIS IS ABOUT 1/4 MILE PAST THE ENTRANCE OF THE SOUTH SIDE OF GRASSY WATERS PRESERVE.Go past the offices to the gravel parking lot to Hog Hammock Trail Head area.
Shared event with Recess For Active Retirees (RFAR) leisurely walk/saunter of the Hog Hammock Trail. The trail is mostly crushed shell rock with some boardwalk areas. You have your choice of an approximately 3 mile walk, and then doing the 1 (one) mile Eagle Trail/Gator Lake Trail. After you do the 3 mile we are back at the parking lot and can add the Eagle Trail around the lake if you wish.
Bring water ,sunscreen, walking sticks and binoculars if desired, and wear comfortable shoes. Bring your good humor too.
Picnic tables are available so bring a picnic lunch for afterward if you wish and a chair . Bathrooms are located by the parking lot, and water is available there.
There is also a fishing pier for catch and release.

Directions: From I-95 exit Northlake Blvd, drive 4.5 miles west to the entrance on the north side of Northlake Boulevard, a mile or so west of the Beeline Expressway. Turn right @ Watershed Management/Fish and Wildlife sign. Go past the offices to the gravel parking lot to Hog Hammock Trail Head area.
