Leisure Bike Ride, Old Indiantown Road/Riverbend Park

Join a relaxed, social bike at a steady pace with a friendly active-retiree crowd, enjoy easy dirt trails and good company for your balanced low-key outdoor fun.

Shared event with RFAR (Recess For Active Retirees) Guest leader Tim Kuhn will take us on an approximately 12 mile bike ride @ 8-10 mph. We will meet at Riverbend Park, 9060 West Indiantown Road. Riverbend is west of I-95 and the Turnpike on Indiantown Rd. Meet 10 AM in the first parking lot when you enter by the office and bathrooms.We will ride out of the park to ride the old route towards Indiantown. The path is dirt and packed shell rock, so regular bike tires should be Ok. Racing tires would be a problem.
You may wish to bring an optional picnic lunch to leave in your car and eat afterward in Riverbend Park.
We will also discuss having a future kayaking/canoeing events at Riverbend Park.
