MEET TRIP LEADER JOAN PURDY, Wednesday January 14 2026 at 10 AM in the first parking lot for the lighthouse. We will walk about 2 hours or so. The north side is a concrete sidewalk of 1/2 mile, round trip, and south side is a 1.5 mile dirt loop. Wear a hat and comfortable shoes; bring water and sunscreen. We hope to find out why the 'toothache trail' is named that. Restrooms should be open in the park. We can have an optional lunch outside on the Intracoastal at Blue Point Bar and Grill, 18701 SE Federal Hwy Tequesta, 1.5 miles north of US 1 and Beach Road. After you cross the county line, turn right onto the access road and follow signs to parking where you should find a a shuttle to the restaurant. Joan Purdy is the event leader.
Hope you can make it.
