Details
This walk is about 4 miles along the South Fork of the St Lucie River, with a fair amount of shade and a firm trail. We may encounter some mud on the trail. Wear comfortable shoes and hat and bring water, bug repellent & sunscreen. Please bring a picnic lunch or snack for eating in the park at the half way point. Please also bring a $5 gift for a gift exchange. Park restrooms should be open.

Take I-95
Exit at Stuart/ Kanner Hwy
Go east on Kanner, very soon you'll turn Right onto Lost River Road. It curves, follow the road until you see Halpatiokee Park on your left. Drive into the park, go right at the roundabout, follow that road past the pickleball courts, keep going until the end, just before the second roundabout. Look for two pavilions, one open and one screened in, let's meet in- between the two pavilions.
