Spring camping and kayaking trip

Additions to the Rock Springs Run, Wekiwa River Trip

March 21 and 22 I will reserve Camp Joy for Sunday and Monday nights. People who would like to camp with us, but aren't prepared to river camp, please join us. On Monday we can hike over to Kelly Park to tube float and swim or we can paddle up the Emerald Cut or do both. On Tuesday, the second trip will run a shuttle and begin the Rock springs river trip. We take out on Friday, the 27th
March 22 to 28, 2026 River camping* on Rock Springs Run and Wekiwa River near Orlando. We will camp at Kelly Park on Sunday and Monday night. Will hike around Kelly Park and tube float there on Monday. On Tuesday, we will put in on Rock Springs Run after runing a long shuttle. Tuesday and Wednesday nights we will be river camping in a campsite on the side of the river. Thursday we will continue to another site on the side of the river. Friday, we will paddle to our cars parked at a friend's backyard on the river. We will spend Friday night at my friend's house then continue down the river to a take-out on the St. John's river.
