Kayak and Hike Valentine's Day

Let's meet up at beautiful White City Park in St Lucie County at 9am. We'll set up our kayaks at the boat launch and launch at 930am. No rentals available at this location. Paddle boards not recommended because of alligators.
We will paddle on the North Fork of the St Lucie River, and explore smaller waterways and tributaries until we reach our hiking destination, Oxbow Preserve.
We'll beach our kayaks, change into our walking shoes, and hike a trail for 45 minutes. Returning to our kayaks, we'll relax and snack, then paddle back along the St Lucie River, arriving to where we launched at White City Park.

Bring your kayak equipment, life vest, hat, water and snacks, walking/hiking shoes, walking stick if you use one, AND AN ADVENTUROUS SPIRIT! BE PREPARED TO GET WET AND TO GET YOUR SHOES DIRTY. We're celebrating Valentines Day, DOING WHAT WE LOVE. Wear something pink or red if you've got it.
