Camping 101

Palm Beach Pack and Paddle would like to invite you to learn the basics of camping to encourage you to head out to enjoy Florida's wilderness, connect to nature and enjoy the magic of starry skies. A Palm Beach Pack and Paddle Club's member with decades of camping experience will give a demonstration on how to set up a camp, and lecture about equipment, camp ground, camping comfort and reservations to camping areas. You are welcome to help with setting up the camp. This class will demonstrate camping in state parks or other camping areas where running water water, showers and toilets are available, not backpacking. Please bring a folding chair if you prefer not to stand. If you are not currently a member of Palm Beach Pack and Paddle club you can join at the event by completing an application and paying $20.00 for the year. Class is limited to 20 people
