DATE CHANGE DUE TO WIND Intercoastal Islands Kayak and Swim

Let's meet at 9:30am to launch at 10am, from the Stuart Causeway Park on NE Ocean, East entrance.
DUE TO HIGH WIND FORECAST, WE WILL PADDLE ON THURSDAY MAY 21ST (INSTEAD OF MONDAY).
This paddle is in the intercoastal waters of Stuart.
We will paddle to two uninhabited islands, swim and picnic, then paddle to see the birds on protected Bird Island.
We can launch from the boat ramp or from the sand next to the ramp.
Bring your own kayak. No rentals available.
Wear or bring a swimsuit, hat, sun tan lotion, bug repellent, lunch or snacks, and water.
Also, bring an adventurous spirit, and be ready for a fun time.

Please be an experienced kayaker. Weather may change and wind may pick up in the Intercoastal waters. There may be some motor boats, but not so many on a Monday.
Wearing your life jacket is suggested.
We are volunteers and will help each other out, but ultimately we are all responsible for our own safety.
