Traveling Trip: Acadia National Park Camping, kayaking, hiking

I've booked a campsite at Blackwoods Campground, just south of Bar Harbor, ME, for July 13-16 and at Schoodic Peninsula for July 16-18. We plan on hiking the Beehive, Cadillac Mountain, and Jordan Pond, bicycling the carriage trails and Schoodic Peninsula, and paddling Echo Lake and calm ocean waters. We'll be eating lobsters and clams. There's museums to check out and free concerts on the Green in Bar Harbor.

We'll meet on my site at at Blackwoods Campground on July 13 and park in the overflow parking, then proceed to our first hike. I'll email you the details through Meetup at a time closer to the date.

Blackwoods Campground is located about 5 miles south of Bar Harbor, Maine, at the juncture of Route 3 and Blackwoods Drive. The address is: 155 Blackwoods Drive, Otter Creek, ME 04660. The entrance is just off Route 3. You cannot enter from Park Loop road.
