Kayak to Trapper Nelsons In Jonathan Dickinson State Park
Details
Experienced Kayakers Please.
This is a beautiful and exotic paddle on the Loxahatchee River in Jonathan Dickinson State Park. It is a long paddle, about two hours each way, and we will stop, rest, and relax at Trapper Nelsons before we turn back. Bring snacks or lunch, and water.
Meeting spot and launch is to the left of the concession store. More details to follow.
You will be required to sign a waiver. We are volunteers and have no special lifesaving skills so you are responsible for your own safety, although we do look out for each other. At this time we are not sure if the kayak rental will be open for those who desire to rent. Again, details will follow.
As on all our kayak events, please be ready for adventure. Wear clothing and shoes that can get wet and muddy.
Any questions, please contact Patty K at 310-710-3822. Kim Levin will also be leading this paddle.
