The Great Loxahatchee River Race

Where: Jonathan Dickinson State Park - Swim Area, 16450 S.E. Federal Highway, Hobe Sound, Florida 33455 When: Saturday, May 21, 2022. Registration opens 8 a.m., races start 10 a.m. Events:

Short Course - One mile recreational paddle

Medium Course –Five mile loop

Open to all canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards. Cost: preregister is $20.00, day of event is $25.00, fee covers insurance and donations to the Florida Paddling Trails Association (FPTA) and to the Loxahatchee River Center (www.loxahatcheeriver.org (http://www.loxahatcheeriver.org/)). Checks should be made to: Loxahatchee River Race. The park entrance fee of $4.00 per person is included in the registration. Lunch: A complimentary lunch will be provided for participating paddlers (guests $5.00) – bring your own beverages (no alcohol allowed in park).
