Arts Society Mallorca Events Season 2024/25:
'The Age of Jazz'
A musically illustrated talk by Sandy Burnett.
Drawing on his experience both as a musicologist and musician, Sandy's presentation covers the early years of jazz up to the Second World War, and the influences behind the emergence of jazz. The talk will be illustrated with musical excerpts. Sandy regularly broadcasts on BBC Radio 3 and plays in the best London jazz clubs.
