Palmerston North Skeptics in the Pub

Here in the sweltering monsoon season, it is good to know that there is a place where we can chat about scientific, rationalist and skeptical issues in an atmosphere that allows for conversation, some beer perchance, and some food. Note to self: that sentence is too long.

I will endeavour to come to the meeting with things of interest to discuss, as I always do. I will search the interwebs for items that can form the basis of an interesting, rational and scientific discussion.

However, my skeptical friends, it is also down to you to make the evening go with a swing. Please feel free to bring something of interest to talk about.

As usual the rules of fun and politeness reign. We are not here to change each other, but to talk and discuss and listen. And drink and eat. It can be robust discussion, but the bottom line is that if you find you are not persuading the others of your position, let it go.
