An inclusive, diverse, and welcoming secular choral community, where every voice is valued, empowered, and inspired to shine! We have programs for adults and youth, as well as camps, workshops and fundraising events in and around Charleston, SC.
No auditions or experience needed! Reading music is not a requirement, but is a welcomed skill. Our choristers are divided into four groups based on age, from kindergarten to adult.
We explore an eclectic range of musical styles, and foster a fun, friendly, inclusive and creative atmosphere. Our repertoire includes a wide range of music, such as folk, jazz, World, musical theatre, pop and traditional choral pieces. We strongly believe in leveraging the power of music as a positive transformational force!
With our heart-centered, "people first" model, we strive to ensure everyone feels welcomed and celebrated. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all, regardless of race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, color, national origin, religion, disability, age or socioeconomic situation. Scholarships are available for our tuition-based programs.

Sing with Us! Registration Open for New Season
St James Episcopal Church, 1872 Camp Road, Charleston, SC, US🎶 Do you or your child love to sing? 🤗 We offer Youth and Adult secular community choirs, with no auditions or prior experience required. Just bring your love for singing, making new friends, and having fun. ✨ AND we've added a 2nd location in Park Circle for the youth on Thursdays. (James Island is on Mondays for youth and adults.) Join us for a weekly dose of joy, camaraderie and creativity, making great music and memories! Rehearsals start the week of August 17.

About Us
Palmetto Choral Collective is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that offers multiple community choirs serving youth grades K-12 and adults. We explore an eclectic range of musical styles, and foster a fun, friendly and creative atmosphere. We work together to build choral skills and musicianship while having a lot of fun. No auditions required!
We are committed to providing audition-free, equal access to quality music education in the Charleston area through recurring rehearsals, instruction, workshops, performances, summer camps, and community-building activities for all members.
We collaborate with other quality organizations such as Charleston Stage Company, Charleston Opera Theater, Charleston Symphony Orchestra, Taylor Festival Choir, Spoleto Festival USA and Charleston County Public Library.We nurture musicianship, encourage leadership, foster inclusivity, and unite people in harmony, strengthening the broader community through the power of music! 🎵
