Palmetto Paddlers

This is the Meetup Group of Palmetto Paddlers, the preeminent paddling club of the Midlands of South Carolina. On Meetup, we announce club paddling trips, both whitewater and flatwater. Trips are open to all members of the Palmetto Paddlers Meetup Group, which is free to join. Many events require a minimum skill level. 

How to Pay Dues (three methods):
To become a full (paying) member of Palmetto Paddlers (optional, but strongly encouraged), membership dues are (individual $20, family $25). You can pay several ways:

1. use the "Subscribe" link on http://www.palmettopaddlers.org to automatically pay your dues every year through PayPal, or
2. use PayPal directly to send dues to Treasurer@PalmettoPaddlers.org, or
3. request an invoice from Treasurer@PalmettoPaddlers.org
   
   Please indicate the full name and contact information of the member and the family members when paying . Dues are used to cover expenses for events hosted, membership meetings, parties, paddling instruction, and safety. The club also supports organizations in the areas of conservation, access to paddling venues, paddling education, and water safety.
   
   When joining either Palmetto Paddlers or the Palmetto Paddlers Meetup Group, please use the exact same name to avoid confusion.
4. Waiver
   Participants must sign one liability waiver per calendar year in order to participate in events. A blank waiver in pdf form is available from the Treasurer by email at Treasurer@PalmettoPaddlers.org. Or ask your Event Host for a blank waiver to sign before the event. Give your signed waiver to your Event Host before participating in the event or let them know you have already signed one for the year.
