John Bauer is our dj from 9:00 - 11:45.John has attended Friday Night Waltz from the very begining. He has djed very many times and is a very popular dj.

John Bauer has been at Friday Night Waltz since the very beginning. When he's not dancing, John enjoys Dance Dance Revolution, working at Stanford NLP, and driving his kids to the rink.
Joshua is our instructor for cross step waltz.


Joshua has been dancing for 20 years. He began learning at Stanford, under the tutelage of Richard Powers. He currently runs the social dance club at Adobe, where he offers weekly dance classes with his co-instructor and fellow Adobe employee, Flora Zhang, who will also be co-instructing this night's dance class.
He will concentrate on some new traveling steps
7:15-8:00
Focus on learning the traveling basic--waterfall version, including pointers for those who already know it but want to polish their movement. A more challenging variation is Innovation/Jedi-dancing for those who have mastered the waterfall basic.

8:00 - 9:00
Easy moves: orbits, grape-vine variations, he-goes-under variations.

7:00 Doors open
7:15 Classes start - Please arrive 15 minutes early to avoid the rush.
8:00 Intermediate class
9:00 DJ dance music
11:45 Doors close

$15 general. $10 for students with ID.

Cash, Check, Credit Card, Apple Pay. We do not accept Venmo. Tickets at the door.
No partner necessary. We rotate rapidly in class.
All Ages. Casual comfortable attire.
