🥂 Plumed Horse | Bar Night

Palo Alto Blind Wine Society — On the Town

📅 Saturday, March 21, 2026
🕔 5:00 PM
📍 Plumed Horse
14555 Big Basin Way, Saratoga, CA

An Evening of Wine, Friendship & Setting

We’re gathering at the bar at Plumed Horse for a relaxed early evening with one of our own guiding the experience.

This is not a blind tasting.
It’s not a critique session.
It’s wine in a beautiful room — where lighting, pacing, glassware, and hospitality shape the way a wine feels.

We’ll begin at the bar with a few thoughtful selections, then transition to a table for dinner — allowing us to experience how the same wines evolve once food enters the conversation.

Because sometimes the lesson is simple:
Wine tastes different when the room feels special — and different again when it meets the table.

🍷 What to Expect

• A strong European bench and classic producers
• A few curated selections from our Somm friend
• Bar energy first, then seated dinner
• A focus on pleasure over precision

We’ll likely order bottles to share so everyone can experience more than one wine, both before and alongside food.

💵 Financial Notes (Graciously Shared)

We will split shared bottles, food, tax, and gratuity evenly among those participating.

Plumed Horse is a Michelin-starred restaurant, so pricing reflects that level of service and setting. Expect an elevated but appropriate range consistent with that environment.

The goal is generosity and fairness — not penny-splitting.

👥 Attendance

We’ll keep this to a small group so conversation stays easy and the table feels cohesive.

Please RSVP only if you’re confident you can attend.

Wine at the bar.
Wine at the table.
Friends throughout.

Taste. Learn. Enjoy. Repeat.
