Dancing at the Doubletree!

Dance with us at the Doubletree Hotel in Torrance! We've been having a fabulous time. So, we're doing it again!

Tom Bellizia will be performing. Tom's a wonderful singer-guitarist-pianist. Literally a one-man-band. He has a 500-song repertoire and plays all styles of music: Pop, Rock, Jazz, Latin, Dance, Classical and Flamenco Guitar.

If you've lived in the South Bay for any time at all, you've heard Tom Bellizia perform. He's been a regular performer at Gladstone's in Long Beach, Phil Trani's in Long Beach, King Harbor Yacht Club in Redondo Beach, Belle Epoque in Redondo Beach, Sister's Barn Eatery in Redondo Beach, Sea Level Restaurant in the Shade Hotel in Redondo Beach, Tony's On the Pier in Redondo Beach, and countless other South Bay locations. For many years, he was the weekly Friday night entertainer at Admiral Risty in Palos Verdes.

In addition to his other gigs, Tom is now performing in the lounge at the Doubletree Hotel in Torrance on Wednesday nights. The hotel has just undergone a major renovation. It's lovely. The restaurant opens onto the lounge, so you can eat before, during or after dancing. Or you can sit in the cozy lounge area. The manager has carved out a nice dance area for us. He's very dance-friendly. And the wait-staff adores us!

Happy Hour is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tom starts at 6 p.m.

I plan to arrive at 5:30—in time to get settled and order a drink before the music starts--but sometimes I get stuck at work and don't arrive until 6 p.m. Parking is on the street or in the hotel guest area. There's no cover charge. But please order a drink or something to eat.
No partner needed. You can dance free-style or with a partner. We often lead a few line dances throughout the evening, too!
