Pandora Boxchain Meetup: Building Decentralized AI

We are thrilled to announce that our fifth meetup will take place in Berlin on November 30th! Come and join fellow blockchain & AI experts and enthusiasts at Rent24 right after Disrupt Berlin.

The program will start with a get-together, free drinks and beer and will be followed by two presentations featuring our co-founder Olga-Ukolova, MD and our core developer Julian Konchunas.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Olga Ukolova, MD is a co-founder at Pandora Boxchain. Olga holds expertise in quality assurance & operations in software development, biotechnology, brain-computer interfaces and machine learning. Here is a teaser to Olga’s presentation: “Humans have always had an enormous thirst for storytelling. This is why we have fairytales, folklore songs, hierarchies, governments, laws, religions. Recently humanity added two more things to the collection - AI and blockchain. No one knows what it is or what it can be, only the chosen ones witnessed it and are now making money on their bullshit prophecies (or buying lambos). Are there any verification algorithms or proofs that these things truly exist? Is there any arbitrage that can help us to keep our feet in this ‘hype/fall Crypto Disneyland’? Let’s try to figure out the line between collective delusion and reality.’

Julian Konchunas is Rust and C++ developer with vast experience in game and UI development. He specializes in distributed systems and previously worked in Gameloft and Ubisoft. Used to develop video-conferencing software at TrueConf. Julian will present with the topic “Hivemind: Mindset for developing PoS consensus” and explain how to think as distributed system network, come up with rules that keep system safe, alive and practical as well as about necessary roles and ways to make others follow these roles.
