Salsa Partnering Class

Welcome to Pantera Dance Company!

Join us every Friday from 7:30-8:30pm for Salsa Partner work at In Movement Dance Studio (38905 Monterey Ave, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270).

What you'll learn: This class focuses on Salsa "On 1", beginning with a follow-along warm-up, followed by review/explanation of practical footwork or body movement skills that will be needed for the partnering pattern of the day. Fundamental partnering skills are provided, so whether you're new to salsa, or you have some experience, you'll walk away with improved technique and a safer experience on the dance floor!
Regardless of your gender, you may choose to either lead or follow, as studying both roles is a great way to improve your skills. No partner is needed since we rotate partners, but if you prefer not to rotate, no problem!

What to wear: Latin shoes with a suede sole are best, but comfortable street shoes without a sticky rubber sole are also a safe option. Please consider the use of deodorant and mints.

How much is it?: Class is $20 or included with Pantera Dance Company membership (This class can also be registered for directly on the IMD website, but you may pay via Venmo or Zelle through the link provided).
