NOTE VENUE,/TIME. Sunrise BRICS, Sunset the Global North? Quo Vadis, Global Sout

Details
Across millennia of history, civilisations came & went, some rebounding in their respective Renaissance periods. After the 1st Quarter of the 21CE, we are witnessing regional blocs & new alliances challenging the solid global alliances born after WWII Powers led by the USA & allies called the G7 & face a now larger & still faster growing BRICS who is piquing interest of the Global South, many of whom were former colonies of the Western Powers.
This afternoon will attempt to review & discern possible cycles, trends & their momentum to a future &, in the process, hopes to be a vigorous discussion of how the world could look in the next 25 years & beyond.
Of special interest will be how the Commonwealth of Australia will evolve in the age of growing multiculturalism, shifting military & economic dynamics & a technological race in a 4th Industrial Revolution involving information, genetics & philosophical convergences.
Facilitating the discussion is Joffre Balce, economist who has worked in the Global South & Global North in the fields of regulation, industrial analysis, finance & co-operative enterprise. He continues to develop courses on the Economic History of Development & Thought, presently for the Association For Good Government.
