Dimi DiSanti is a master guitarist who could play with anyone anywhere, and he has, working with Bernard Purdie, James Newton, the Temptations, the Drifters, the Coasters, Sparx, and Lorenzo Antonio, among others. DiSanti’s virtuosity and versatility offers crisply expressive lines in every one of his original compositions, and the range of styles—funk, jazz (swing and fusion), hard rock, Latin, blues—eloquently demonstrate his deep familiarity with multiple genres and the influence of disparate musicians, from Metheny to Santana to Robben Ford. He’s the recent winner of the New Mexico Music Awards this past year.
Alex Murzyn has a versatility and musicianship that has made him one of the most in demand saxophonists in New Mexico. Relocating from the San Francisco area, where he played with numerous bands, including Huey Lewis and the News, Ray Obiedo, Pete Escovedo and the Stan Kenton Legacy Orchestra, with a career spanning three decades. He has three CDs under his name, and is working to complete the fourth soon to be released. His music stems from traditional and contemporary jazz, soul, rock, funk and latin. He is equally accomplished on flute and clarinet.
Robert Muller is a modern jazz pianist from Santa Fe, New Mexico. He spent his early years in Portland, Oregon where he studied with Blue Note legend Dr. Andrew Hill and performed with local greats like Leroy Vinegar and Akbar DePriest. After college, he spent over a decade in New York, where he worked with a variety of independent artists and performed at venues including the Blue Note, Studio 54, and the Knitting Factory. Since landing in New Mexico, he has collaborated with regional artists like songstress Hillary Smith, former US Poet Laureate Joy Harjo, and contemporary jazz artist Ryan Montaño. He also tours the US with Diné jazz artist Delbert Anderson. He's a founding member of Kodama Trio, who won New Mexico Music Awards for Best Jazz Album, Best Jazz Single, and he was recipient of the NMMA 2024 Eric Larson Lifetime Achievement Award.
