A Great day hike in the making, there'll be some fantastic views to be had on this one.
See you guys at the parking circle at the end of Johnsontown Road for a 9am sharp meeting time. This is a very busy parking lot so an early arrival is suggested to secure your parking spot.
We’ll head up the white bar trail (AT) past The Dutch Doctor Shelter as we make our way to Claudius Smith’s Den Cliffs. We can stop for a snack before making back to the parking lot, and yes Seven Lakes Station here we come best burgers are found here.
Bring minimum 3 liters of water - your favorite snack - comfortable hiking boots there's some rough ground on this one. Pay close attention to the updates on weather conditions on the Wednesday before the event.
VERY IMPORTANT RULES
NO DRUGS NO ALCOHOL NO WEAPONS ARE ALLOWED ON OUTINGS.
WAIVERS MUST BE SIGNED BY ALL WHO WISH TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OUTING.
ALL GARBAGE MUST BE CARRIED OUT TAKE NOTHING BUT PICTURES LEAVE NOTHING BUT FOOT PRINTS
If you have any medical conditions and/or carry any medications for your condition please inform the event host of said condition and inform us where in your pack you carry your first aid kit and medications as it will speed the process in assisting you should the need arise. First aid kits and trauma kits are packed, however it's your responsibility to provide for your own medicine as it’s will be a special needs item.
