FREE & FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT: Let's get together to talk LOCAL LEGENDS of Central El Paso + Concordia Cemetery...

Why wait for October? Dust off your sunhats, grab your favorite oddities, and join us for an evening of Midsummer Macabre! We’re bringing the spooky vibes to the heat of June.

📅 When: June 20th at Twilight
📍 Where: Mary Webb Park
🖤 Dress Code: Spooky Summer / Goth Tropical

Spooky season arrives early! Grab your blankets, your favorite picnic snacks, and a dash of autumn spirit for a Summerween Picnic Meetup at Mary Webb Park.

As the sun sets, we’ll gather under the twilight sky to listen to chilling local ghost stories, masterfully spun by a talented local author. Bring along a few fun trinkets, creepy crafts, or spooky treats to trade with your fellow Halloween-in-June enthusiasts!

Vibe: Family-friendly, cozy, and just the right amount of eerie.

Whether you come dressed in theme, or your favorite summer clothes, don't miss this magical evening of community, mystery, and mid-summer haunts. See you at sunset!

How the Trade Works:
Bring a pocketful of small treasures—crystals, shiny things, miniatures, oddities, or handmade charms. Find a spot on the grass, lay out your wares, and channel your inner crow to trade with fellow night owls.
Come exchange some trinkets and tall tales!

🔮 The Trinket Trade Mechanics
To make sure everyone has fun and leaves with a pocket full of treasures, we establish a few loose "rules of the realm":
What to Bring: Small items like crystals, oddities, shiny buttons, enamel pins, miniatures, handmade charms, feathers, old coins, stickers, etc.
The Trade Economy: No money changes hands. It’s a pure barter system.
The core idea is simple: attendees bring a collection of small, spooky, or whimsical trinkets to trade with one another.

To keep the summer vibe alive, we encourage a "Spooky Tropical" or "Goth Picnic" dress code (think Hawaiian shirts with skulls, vintage sun hats, or summer dresses paired with spooky accessories).

When the picnic winds down and darkness fully takes over, the real investigation begins. We will be hosting an exclusive, after-hours Cemetery Tour immediately following the meetup. We'll head beyond the gates to explore the history, legends, and restless spirits that linger in the shadows.

(Please Note: While the storytelling meetup is FREE & open to everyone, space for the cemetery walk is strictly limited. Tickets are required for this portion of the evening, so be sure to lock yours in before they vanish into thin air! Tickets available on EVENTBRITE)
