The New Moon Poetry Society is a sanctuary for dreamers, word-weavers, and truth-seekers who find solace and power in poetic expression. Under the quiet inspiration of the new moon, a symbol of new beginnings and introspection, this club welcomes writers of all levels to explore the art of poetry.

In this intimate and inclusive space, members can:
Share their own poems or the works of others that inspire them.
Participate in guided writing prompts and workshops to ignite creativity.
Engage in thoughtful discussions about form, style, and the deeper meanings behind poetic works.

Host moonlit open-mic nights to celebrate the spoken word.
Whether you're an experienced poet or simply curious about the craft, the New Moon Poetry Society offers a place to connect, create, and let your voice shine through the darkness. Join us as we embrace the transformative power of words and illuminate the night with our collective imagination.

The society was started as an homage to Nick’s grandmother, who would have him accompany her to the Blue Moon Poetry Society when he was a young boy. He became fascinated by being around such a talented group of individuals, and wanted to establish a similar atmosphere for Parastudy.

Attendance is Free, donations are appreciated and are used solely for Parastudy.

Because there is no registration the full attendees totals will not appear on this Meetup posting.
