About us
Welcome to the StoryMonde Family Storytelling Circle, a community for parents, guardians, caregivers, tutors, and families who want to help children build creativity, confidence, and literacy through storytelling.
StoryMonde helps children turn their ideas into personalized stories they can read, revise, illustrate, share, and make their own. Our gatherings are designed to make storytelling joyful, accessible, and meaningful for children, whether they already love writing, are reluctant readers, are still building confidence, or simply have big ideas they want to bring to life.
In our workshops, parents and caregivers participate alongside children as they brainstorm characters, choose themes, shape plots, revise ideas, and create original stories with StoryMonde as a creative helper. The goal is not just to make a story. It is to help children take ownership over their words, ideas, and imagination.
We believe that when children take ownership of the story, they read more, revise more, and engage more deeply. That is how creativity becomes literacy. Some sessions may also include an optional opportunity for families to order a printed keepsake copy of their child’s completed storybook.
This is a family-friendly group for adults attending with children. Parents, guardians, or responsible adults must RSVP and remain present with children for the full session.
