Protect your child from school & internet stress: be their emotional shield, restore feelings at home, and connect with parents like you.

## How to protect your child from the wounding environments (school and the internet)?

In today’s world, many children spend their days in environments that don’t protect their softness—school pressure, peer dynamics, and the endless pull of the internet can all invite them to “toughen up” too soon. In this online workshop, based on Gordon Neufeld’s developmental work, we’ll explore what it really means to be your child’s emotional shield: the adult who holds the weight of the world so the child doesn’t have to.
You’ll learn how wounding environments often lead children to cut off vulnerable feelings (sadness, fear, disappointment) and shift into more defended states like anger, numbness, perfectionism, or “I don’t care.”
We’ll talk about why school needs to end in the afternoon—not only academically, but emotionally—so home becomes the place where feelings can finally be felt, processed, and restored in the safety of attachment. You’ll leave with practical ways to reduce overwhelm, guide your child back to tenderness, and create rhythms that protect innocence without isolating them from life.
You won’t just listen—you’ll also have space to connect with parents in the same situation, share what you’re living through, and hear what’s helping others.

Come as you are—bring your questions, your worries, and your real experiences. You’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure this out by yourself.
