What we’re about
If you’ve ever watched Bluey and thought, “Where can I find a parent village like this?”—same. This group is about building that real-life village: kids with close friends, parents with relief and support, and a community where no one has to do it all alone or pretend they have it all together.
What began as a search for a safer learning environment for our trans daughter grew into the idea to build the village we’ve always needed. While we may have started as a homeschool group, this village is open to any parents looking for connection, support, and a place to make friends in the same boat. Our kiddos are 6 and 4, but we’re a safe space for kids of all ages. We aren’t extravagantly exciting, just a little band of nerds, artists, and parents whose idea of fun looks a lot like weekend potluck dinners where the kids take over one room and the grown-ups reclaim card games in another, pool parties with cheap burgers and hotdogs on the grill, and the forever-classic “meet at the park and let the kids run wild” playdates.
So if you’re someone who’s been wishing for an inclusive village that cheers each other on through life, do the thing: reach out! Perhaps you’ve finally happened upon one!
