We hope you enjoyed a wonderful summer break!

We're starting the fall with our Monthly Fiction Writing Workshops this Sunday 9/15 at Linden Tree Books!

Our theme is "Sticky and Tricky Situations."

For example, what if our hero is ready to climb up a rickety ladder and save the yowling kitten trapped on a rooftop but she steps into superglue?

Or what if a marine biologist discovers a strange new hybrid sea mammal while scuba diving in the damaged coral reefs near the island nation of Lamura on the Planet Noran, five galaxies away from the Milky Way? Only now the local government sees profit in capturing this species....

We'll provide:

• an interactive story game to jump start our imaginations
• Tips and tools for creating unique characters and plot twists
• 2 writing coaches for brainstorming or feedback upon request
• A welcoming, creative space

Please bring

• your enthusiasm and imagination
• questions about creating stories
• a small object or picture to inspire your story ideas
• a paper notebook, pencils, erasers, and/or
• a fully charged laptop computer & charger (optional)
• a bottle of water
• Optional: cash or Venmo donation of any amount towards our upcoming workshops & events
