Los Altos - SUN 9/15 Story Workshops: Sticky & Tricky Situations

Dear Parents, Writers, and Friends,

We hope you enjoyed a wonderful summer break!

We're starting our Monthly Story Workshops this Sunday 9/15 at Linden Tree Books!

Our theme is "Sticky and Tricky Situations."

For example, what if our hero is about ready to climb up a rickety ladder and save the yowling kitten trapped on a rooftop but she steps into superglue?

Or what if a marine biologist discovers a strange new hybrid sea creature while scuba diving in the coral reefs near the island nation of Lamura on the Planet Noran, five galaxies away from the Milky Way? (Yep, I invented this place on the spot!)

Ages 7-11: 2:30-3:30pm

Tween & Teen Writers:
Ages 12-18: 3:30pm-4:30pm

We'll provide:

• an interactive story game to jump start our imaginations
• Tips and tools for creating unique characters and plot twists
• 2 writing coaches for brainstorming or feedback upon request
• A welcoming, creative space

Please bring

• your enthusiasm and imagination
• questions about creating stories
• a small object or picture to inspire your story ideas
• a paper notebook, pencils, erasers, and/or
• a fully charged laptop computer & charger (optional)
• a bottle of water
• Optional: cash or Venmo donation of any amount towards our upcoming workshops & events
