My world turned upside down in 2021 as my dear son was diagnosed with schizophrenia at 14 years old. And while .5 to 1 percent of the global population acquires this devastating brain disease, there are surprisingly few resources available. Even here in Southern California.
This meetup group is designed for parents of children with schizophrenia to let their guard down and get real about their struggles, their turmoil, their triumphs, and everything in between. A completely open forum, designed to share notes & help each other to help our loved ones live in a world without stigma.
