Virtual Masquerade Singles Speed Dating

Welcome to dating in the virtual world from the comfort of your own home. Don't let the thought of the current times be dreadful...let's see if we can find a date for you; maybe even 2.

This event is exclusive and intimate. Why? Because the ENTIRE time you are in the virtual dating scene your face is UNKNOWN! That's right. We wanted to put an exotic spin on the way dating is perceived in 2020.

You will be masked the entire time during the speed dating experience. The singles will get to know YOU as a person without the glitz and glam. :)

So how does this work?

1. Sign up via Eventbrite – we plan to add additional events if there is demand! As of now, this event will occur Bi-Weekly. This is the first of many themed, singles speed dating events. All for fun!

2. Event is NOW FREE and includes atleast 2 five minute speed dates. Each participant must have video chatting capability over a secure internet connection. This is an online Virtual event open to local singles in the Washington D.C. area.Once we receive your RSVP, we will ask you to complete a brief survey to assist with matching. Proceeds will benefit Young Mothers, Inc. a local non-profit in DC that gives assistance to young moms in under served communities.

3. Your time slots will be anytime from 7:00pm to 9pm so please be available during the entire event time slot. Matches are hand-picked based on preferences and personal interests. A calendar invite with event instructions will also be provided prior to the start of the event. Participants are limited to 10 males and 10 females.

4. During the event, everyone will have a chance to introduce themselves and talk for several minutes. Attendees will send their selections to the host after the event. You will receive matches after the event. Please give us about 24 hours to respond with the matches for you.

5. Finally take off your mask! See who you got matched with!
   It's that simple!

Additional Information

• All sales end at least three hours before the event
• Please give us a 24hour notice if you cannot attend for a voucher for future event (restrictions apply) If the event is cancelled for any reason, you WILL get a voucher to the next event. Just send an email stating the reason you were unable to attend.
• We plan to host up to five males and five females for every event (40 minutes per event). Please understand that we are not responsible for no-shows.
• We limit every event to equal number of men and women
• We will send you instructions and link to the video conference room event after you purchase your ticket
• We plan to add local only events in person, in the future
• What do you need: laptop, tablet, or a smartphone with a camera, a mask! Have fun, any mask you choose is fine! Even the COVID-19 mask:) Just be yourself!
• And yes, you have to have your camera on
• There is no need to be nervous, have a glass of wine and have fun
• And please be patient if there are technical difficulties or glitches. We are all new to the virtual world
