Ballade Ressourçante à Fontainbleau
Details
# Balade Ressourçante
Ecology, history & wellbeing in Fontainebleau
Take a breath of forest air.
For millennia, humans have walked these woods — from stone-age hunters to Celtic druids and French kings.
This guided walk weaves together clinically effective somatic practices, insights from psychology and neuroscience, and stories of the forest's cultural and ecological heritage to support a calming, grounding reset for the nervous system.
## What to expect
Over approximately 3.5 hours, we will discover:
- Simple breathing and somatic awareness techniques that improve well-being in daily life.
- Neuroscience insights into stress regulation and just how nature supports mental health.
- The history of centuries-old ruins, with lunch at a scenic lookout point.
- The forest's flora and fauna—including a nearly 500-year-old oak.
- Embodied relationship to the living history and ecology of the Paris / IDF region.
