Whether you are a British culture enthusiast or simply a tea lover, this is the perfect chance to escape the Parisian bustle and dive into a truly British tradition.
What’s on the menu? 🍰
- Home-made scones with jam and Crème d’Isigny.
- A choice of delicious cakes.
- A wide selection of fine teas.
This event is free but you will pay for what you order directly to the tea room.
A Touch of History & Etiquette 📖 Your host, Sarah Lesage, presenter of La Crème Anglaise podcast, will share fascinating tales about the origins of Afternoon Tea and the "do's and don'ts" of this delicious ritual. From the proper way to hold a teacup to the history of the Duchess of Bedford, you’ll leave with more than just a full stomach!
Cosy atmosphere ✨ We will gather for two hours in a magical, private corner at the back of the tea room. It’s the perfect opportunity to chat in English, meet new friends, and celebrate British culture in a cosy setting.
