For this event we are taking the high ground to discuss protecting the operations of systems in orbit, with leading expert and Chief Research Fellow of the Institute for Cyber and Space Research Barbara Grofe, and CS2AI Founding Fellow Patrick Miller hosting.

Abstract
Cybersecurity and the resiliency of space assets are a priority because of the critical infrastructure services they provide. This session will discuss the status of cybersecurity within the space domain, past hacks, attack vectors and mitigation approaches of exploits. The session will also discuss the cyber security and space asset resiliency range and how it will be used to test and validate the assets' security and resiliency postures. Finally, the session will identify the current state of cybersecurity space policies and standards.
